Back to the Grind
I hope everyone had a memorable Memorial Day. Mine was marked by services in my hometown of Three Lakes. Memorial Day and Veterans Day are my favorite Holidays. I think because my dad was in the Air Force and instead of hauty gifts and booming the greeting card industry, these holidays are defined by indebted respect for our elders and our peers who do what is the unthinkable to most of us. Ours was a small group of veterans but presented most honorably and respected as much as any by residents and visitors alike.
